Radiohead Comes To Santa Barbara

See how beautiful this place is?

See how beautiful this place is?

Just wanted to give everyone a chance to see an article that a friend sent me from my old stomping grounds in Santa Barbara.

Apparently Radiohead came to the County Bowl and wowed the crowd with an excellent lightshow and a long, fun playlist.

Click here to see some video and a description of the show.

If you’ve never been to Santa Barbara, where I lived for 12 years, you’re already missing out… and if you haven’t been to the Bowl, well you’re missing out even more. The place is nestled in the hills on the Eastside of Santa Barbara, with a gorgeous view. Every seat in the house is an absolute winner. Only 4 or 5,000 people can actually fit in it… which helps make every show a special experience.

Radiohead apparently knows that … because they are ending their most recent tour at the Bowl.

What about well-meaning clamor?
“History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.”
–Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968), civil rights leader

NOTE: Today is the anniversary of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a Dream” speech at the 1963 March on Washington.
